We spent a very pleasant week in the Eucalyptus cottage. Ideal for recharging and disconnecting surrounded by nature. Extra bonus for Charlène's warm welcome (and her tastefully curated vintage shop). We'll be back without hesitation.

Between Chinon, Saumur and Tours lies this wonderful oasis in Ligré. We greatly enjoyed this dreamlike place, perfect for relaxing and recharging, surrounded by horses, chickens and a lively, affectionate retriever. Our host, Charlène, made our arrival easy and made us feel welcome from the very beginning.

Charlène’s welcome is warm and uncomplicated. With its rather original design, the accommodation set within the walls of an old bakery matches its description in every way. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are spacious and bright, and the bedding is excellent.

Charlène is a wonderfully charming, welcoming and attentive host. The estate, the gîte and the region are all magnificent — a cocoon of greenery and quiet where you immediately feel at ease. A peaceful place close to the beautiful town of Chinon, its castle and its riverside guinguette along the Vienne. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the lovely little family.
